31st July 2006:
School was officially opened on 29th July in colourful ceremony amidst a large gathering including representatives of the overseas sponsors.

15th July 2006:
All construction work is now complete and the new school is being readied for the official opening ceremony scheduled for 29th July 2006.

30th June 2006:
Work is now nearing completion and is concentrated on ancillary works and finishing touches to most areas. Opening ceremony scheduled for 29th July 2006.

15th June 2006:
Work has progressed well. Blk D,. Blk B, & Classroom Blk 100% complete. Blk C -90% complete. Target completion date mid July.

31st May 2006:
Work continues to progress well. Blk D Doors & windows -60%, Painting - 100%, Elect - 60%. Blk B Flr rendered 85%, Painting 75%. Blk C - Ext plaster - 90%, Int plaster - 70%.Classroom Blk- Doors & windows - 60%, Painting 100%. Target completion date end July 2006.

Construction work continues at a very good pace. Classroom height a little too low. Have made changes to increase height of classrooms in remaining Block C.

Work continues to progress well and on schedule. Work completed upto slab level in all blocks. Overall 60% work complete.

Work progressing well and is on schedule. More than 50% complete in most areas including admin block and clasroom blocks.

Construction work is now in progress but programme is about a week behind schedule.

Preliminary designs and estimates have been forwarded to the Apex Committee for evaluation and award of contract.

7 Feb 2005:
Work has begun to clean out school premises and make preliminary inspections.
Expect to have initial estimates and BOQ’s in hand by last week February.
