15th Nov 2006:
New School ceremonially opened in a colourful ceremony on Sunday 5th November in the presence of a large and distinguished gathering. 781 lucky boys and girsl will now continue their education in their new school with all the modern facilities to assist them.

31st Oct 2006:
Final finishing touches being done on the landscaping and planting of lawns. The opening ceremony on Sunday 5th November is eagerly awaited by the whole village.

15th Oct 2006:
Opening ceremony fixed for Sunday 5th November 2006.

30st Sept 2006:
Still await sponsor's confirmation of new date in October for opening ceremony.

All construction work is now complete and school is ready for occupation. Await Sponsors confirmation of new opening date.

15th Aug 2006:
Opening ceremony postponed indefinitely on request by PTA. Closure of all schools in the country for two weeks owing to security concerns, has caused anxiety amongst parents & teachers.

31st July 2006:
School construction 95% complete. Assembly Hall roof - 50% complete. Opening ceremony fixed ofr 20th August 2006.

30th June 2006:
Work continues at good pace. U Blk, Admin Blk ,T Blk, Perimeter drain and Chain link fence - 100% complete. Assembly Hall - walls 100%. Work now on to move O/H Power lines. Water tank columns sump walls-100%. Target completion date end July.

15th June 2006:

Filling of land is in progress. Expect to commence construction work by end July.

Preliminary designs and estimates have been forwarded to the Apex Committee for evaluation and award of contract.

7 Feb 2005:
Work has begun to clean out school premises and make preliminary inspections.
Expect to have initial estimates and BOQ’s in hand by last week February.
